Buzz sent me an email that ended with these words:
“Life Is Short……..Live it to the fullest!.
It Has An Expiration Date!”
Believe it or not, this is actually a biblical concept.
The psalmist said, “So teach us to count our days that we may gain a wise heart.” (Psalm 90:12)
In other words, those who are wise know they don’t have forever. Each day is a precious gift and is to be used to its fullest because someday this life that we so often take for granted will end.
So if today is all you have, what will you do? What will be your main focus?
It matters.
Prayer: Dear Gracious Heavenly God, thank you for this day and all the blessings you have placed in my life. Lord, please use me as a blessing for others. Help me share love, compassion, forgiveness, and grace in a world that is filled with pain and grief. Let me be a shining light that brings others to you. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Today is all you have so make it count.
I pray your day is filled with joy and laughter.
