A few weeks ago, Michele told me she wanted to share following experience. It spoke to me. I pray it does the same for you.

“I always say some praying is best done on your knees. My Soul Sister has cancer. I was getting ready to fly out to New Mexico to spend the week with her in the hospital for her surgery. She had a very large mass and was in a lot of pain. I went to my place to pray for a while on my knees. I was still very anxious and tearful as I walked back in my room to start packing for my trip. I picked up my iPad to put it in my bag and the screen came on. There are usually push notifications from various news agencies that I usually ignore, I don’t even know how they get there really. I have the Bible app on there and have never seen a notification from the app before. It caught my eye as I went to put the iPad in my bag and what I saw caused me to have to sit down and cry. A notification from the Bible app said “The Lord is always with you…..”

I know that I received a message from God that whatever it is, he is there. She starts chemo tomorrow and I plan to be there in my place on my knees knowing that I am heard and not alone.

Michele”

God’s promise is not riches, fame, success, or health. God’s promise is that He will always be with us and we are never alone. All God asks is that we hold His hand as He walks us through both the good and bad that comes with the human experience.

I hope you are at a good place in life, but if you are not, know that you don’t face these hard trials alone. God is with you and he asks you to trust where you cannot see and not worry about the future. God’s already there.

The very last words that Jesus spoke in the gospel of Matthew are some of the most important. Jesus said, “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20b)

No matter what this world dishes out, you can take it because the One who set the stars in the sky and the fish in the sea is holding out his hand. He will see you through.

Prayer: Dear Gracious Heavenly God, let me feel your presence and peace as I begin the challenges of a new day. Remind me, that no matter what I face, you are with me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Yesterday, I called Michele to find out the latest on Paige. She had a successful surgery and is now on her second round of chemo. She knows God is with her.

God is with you too.

I pray your day is filled with joy and laughter.
